Equipment

We would like to advise all participants to bring their own equipment. Solo Baston Escrima Tournament Committee will not lend or provide personal equipment. The only equipment we will provide are the padded weapons. We strongly recommend participants to check the street hockey gears at any local athletic stores.

As explained in the Rules and Regulations, full contact participants must have the following: 1) Helmet or head gear - must be able to withstand impact. A cage should also accompany the headgear to protect the face; 2) Elbow pads are mandatory; 3) Gloves - mandatory and must be padded and also must cover hand and fingers; 4) Forearm pads are optional; 5) Mouth piece - is a must; 6) Shoulder or chest pads are optional; 7) Groin cup is mandatory for males; 8) Knee pads is mandatory; 9) Shin protectors are also mandatory; 10) Shoes are also mandatory.

If you have any questions pertaining to any equipment, please feel free to email us your concerns. All equipment will be checked at the registration table and also at the staging area prior to the bout. Failure to wear any mandatory equipment will be disqualified from the full contact competition.
